Quran

God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- Who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. God is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to God! (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. Клиника хирург флеболог. Электрозаводская.

He is God, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (59:22-24)

Say: He is God, the One and Only;  God, the Eternal, Absolute;  He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (Surah 112)

 The Question of God.

The question of God's existence has preoccupied man's mind for many centuries. Those who believe in God seem to agree that the limited finite human intelligence cannot prove the existence of the infinite boundless God. It can only illustrate or demonstrate his existence to the satisfaction of the curious human mind. Those who deny God claim to rely on science, philosophy, or special theories of knowledge. Their arguments are sometimes inapplicable, sometimes irrelevant, always complex, and often incomprehensible. However, the developed mind will find its way to Allah. Failure to find the way does not mean that there is no way. Denial of reality does not make it unreal. More

CONCEPT OF GOD IN ISLAM

It is a known fact that every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to God and sometimes to lesser deities. This is not the case with Allah. Allah is the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word god which can be made plural, gods, or feminine, goddess. It is interesting to notice that Allah is the personal name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic. The One true God is a reflection of the unique concept that Islam associates with God. To a Muslim, Allah is the Almighty, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, Who is similar to nothing and nothing is comparable to Him. The Prophet Muhammad was asked by his contemporaries about Allah; the answer came directly from God Himself in the form of a short chapter of the Quran, which is considered the essence of the unity or the motto of monotheism. This is chapter 112 which reads:

"In the name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate. Say (O Muhammad) He is God the One God, the Everlasting Refuge, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone." More

    IT IS HE Who

Belief in One God is the most important axiom in Islam. The One God, Allah in Arabic, is the creator of everything else that ever existed, exists or will come to life by His Will. Allah is a living God, the creator, the shaper, the evolver, the Most High, the Exalted and the Perfect. There is none like Him. He has no beginning nor an end. Prophets like Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad performed miracles by the leave of God. May peace and blessings be on all His prophets. It is Allah Who created Adam without parents and Jesus without a father. It is God Who is not in need of sons and daughters. He begets not, nor is He begotton. It is Allah Who sent His final messenger Muhammad fourteen centuries ago as a mercy for the worlds. The Holy Quran contains numerous verses to help us understand who He is. The following is a small collection of verses which begin with or contain the words "It is He Who." A few additional verses have been added to retain the context. These verses should serve us well in getting to know Him better. Those who know arabic can enjoy reading these in arabic a lot better than any translation can do. That is so not only because the original text is in arabic, but also that the arabic verses are the words of God which came to prophet Muhammad through angel Jibrael (Gabriel). More

AN EXPLANATION OF THE PERFECT NAMES AND ATTRIBUTES OF ALLAH

He is Allah, the Creator, the Originator, The Fashioner, to Him belong the most beautiful names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, do declare His praises and glory. And He is the Exalted in Might, The Wise. (Quran 59:24)

"The most beautiful names belong to God: so call on Him by them;..." (7:180)

It is not possible to perfectly translate the names and attributes of Allah from their original Arabic into English. However, here are some fairly close explanations.
