Abu Dhabi Securities Market Index (ADSM Index), rose 2.67 points or 0.23% to reach 1,171.90 for the week ended Dec 5th. During the week 11 out 15 stocks listed on the exchange traded with 6 stocks closing positive while 2 negative, 7 unchanged for the week. For the week total volume reached 33.9 million on 1.05 million shares exchanged hands through 74 trades. Major gainer for the week were shares of Abu Dhabi Aviation which rose7.5% to reach Dh. 64.5/shares on volume of Dh. 10.4 million. Shares of Abu Dhabi National Bank also saw some positive activities during the week. NBAD shares closed up 3.44% to reach Dh. 662/share on volume of Dh. 7.6 million. Things were not rosey for shares of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank which dropped 4.41% to reach Dh. 455.5/share on volume of Dh. 7.56 million.
